GLENWOOD OPINION-TRIBUNE
DATED JULY 28, 1932:

Wm. D. Penland, 69, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Charles Stirk, in Pacific Junction Wednesday morning. The body was brought to the Raynor Funeral Home in Glenwood and funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock in the Pacific Junction Methodist church.

Burial will be in the Glenwood cemetery.
