In Loving Remembrance of
Helen May Hubbell,
Born Oct. 17, 1902,
Died July 31, 1903,
Age 9 mos. 4 days.

She was our joy and pride,
We loved her, ah! perhaps too well,
For soon she slept and died.
All is dark within our dwelling,
Lonely are our hearts today,
For the one we loved so dearly,
Has forever passed away."

DATED JULY 1903

Died, July 31st, Little Helen, the nine months old baby of C.T. and Mary Hubbell, after a short illness of four days intense suffering with congestion of the stomach. The funeral was held at their home in Lyons township, conducted by Rev. Crumley, of Burr Oak, interment taking place in the Glenwood cemetery. Little Helen was a sweet child, and the bereaved parents have the heartfelt sympathy of all in their sad loss.
