Mary D. Estes died in Malvern on July 18 at the age of 86. She was born March 12, 1890 in Prairie Home, Mo. She moved to Glenwood in about 1910 and was married on December 14, 1912 to Samuel Marshall Estes. Mr. Estes passed away in 1938.

Mrs. Estes served as a teacher and was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the First Baptist Church of Glenwood.

Services were held at the Raynor, Lett and Kent Funeral Home on July 20. The Rev. Clyde W. Harmon presided. Interment was held at the Glenwood Cemetery.

Surviving is her daughter, Mrs. James (Virginia) Summers, Malvern; granddaughter, Suzanne Summers, Omaha, Neb.; and sister, Mrs. Ella Moritz, Powell, Wyo.
