DATED JANUARY 3, 1979:

Services were Tuesday for Murl Scott, 74, Glenwood, who died Thursday evening at his home after an apparent heart attack.

Services were at the Raynor, Lett and Kent Funeral Home with the Rev. Fritz Melberg, minister of the First Congregational Church, UCC, officiating.

Burial was in the Glenwood Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Lucille; a stepson, Claude Lawler of Bismark, N.D.; a brother Leon Scott of Glenwood; a sister, Mrs. Ethel Blackburn of Sidney; and three step-grandchildren.
