DATED NOVEMBER 12, 1907

Harriet Hency was born May 13, 1850, in Elkhart county, Ind., and died at her home in Silver City Sunday morning, Nov. 10, 1907. In 1861 she moved to Glenwood, where on Nov. 10, 1867, she was married to J. L. Moore. They moved to Silver City 20 years ago and that has been her home ever since. She has been in ill health for the past 25 years. About five years ago she began to decline very rapidly. Last Friday she was taken seriously ill.

Nine children -- six sons and three daughters, mourn the loss of a mother. They are Clarence W. of Emerson, Neb., J. Ed, Parsons, Kansas, Mrs. Maud Rook, Stratton, Neb., and Mrs. Cora Hunt, Mrs. H. Howser, John, Fred, Frank, and George Moore of Silver City.

A father aged 82, at Manchester, Ia., five sisters and five brothers also mourn her death. Three sisters, Mrs. Nettie Confare, Manchester, Ia., Mrs. Jennie Norman and Mrs. Hampton of Council Bluffs attended the funeral services. Services were held in he M. E. church at Silver City this Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock. Rev. Peter Jacobs, pastor, conducting the same.
