DATED WED. SEPTEMBER 27, 1995:

Arlien McGinnis, 92, Tabor, died Sept. 22, 1995, at the Glen Haven Home in Glenwood following an extended illness. Funeral services were Monday at the Crawford-Marshall Funeral Chapel in Tabor with Rev. Linda Baldock officiating. Burial was at the Farragut Cemetery.

Mrs. McGinnis was born July 20, 1903, to Isaac Darland and Eva (Jackson) Darland. She married Earl McGinnis on July 18, 1925 in Farragut. Alien was a member of the Tabor United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, and was an active Girl Scout leader for many years.

She was preceded in death by her husband; two sisters; and five brothers. She is survived by two sons, Darwin McGinnis and wife, Margaret, of Tabor and Keith McGinnis and wife, Retha, of Glenwood; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and other relatives.
