Elizabeth Cloyed, 77, of Mesa, Ariz. died Sept. 8, 1995 in Mesa. A memorial service was held on Saturday, Sept. 16 at the Howard Street Christian Church in Colfax with Rev. Thomas Carpe officiating.

Mrs. Cloyed was born Jan. 27, 1918 to Walter and Jennie Boyce in Glenwood. She married Carl Cloyed on Sept. 15, 1935. She was born and reared in Glenwood. Six weeks prior to her death, she and her husband moved to Mesa, Ariz. She was a member and Elder of the Howard Street Christian Church, a member of Chapter BA of the P.E.O. Sisterhood, a tutor for chidren with special needs, and a member of the Colfax Library Board.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Carlene Cloyed-Harris; grandchildren, Jennifer, LisaBeth and James Johnson and Kathy Urich; and a great-grandson, James Carl Johnson III.
