DATED APRIL 22, 1935:Richard D. Epperson, 1 year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar L. Epperson, Route No. 1, died Sunday at a local hospital after a ten-day illness with throat infection.
Surviving are the parents and two sisters, Vivian and Loraine at home. He leaves also his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. C. G. Epperson of Route No. 1 and Mrs. Bertha Sampson of Knoxville.
Funeral services were held Monday at 2 pm at Cutler's chapel with Rev. M. B. Pringle of First Christian church officiating. Burial will be in Glenwood.

APRIL 23, 1935:Funeral services for Richard D. Epperson were held Monday at 2 p.m. at Cutler's mortuary. Rev. M. B. Pringle was in charge. Music was furnished by Mrs. W. E. Cowdrey, Elizabeth Epperson and Helene Winters. Pallbearers were Robert Meyers, Harold DeVol, Clark Barrett and Alfred Etherington. Interment was at Glenwood where Rev. Guy C. Nusbaum was in charge.
