COUNCIL BLUFFS, IOWA NONPARIEL
DATED MARCH 1998:

GLENWOOD - Funeral for Ruth Alma (Skinner) Harrington, 101, of Glenwood will be Monday at 1 p.m. at Raynor-Hardiman Funeral Home in Glenwood with the Rev. Rick Wheatly officiating.

Mrs. Harrington died March 12 at Glen Haven Home in Glenwood.

She was born in Arcadia, Neb. She was a member of the Baptist Church.

Mrs. Harrington was preceded in death by her first husband, Guy Skinner, and her second husband, Mark Harrington.

Survivors include four daughters, Dixie Deitchler of Glenwood, Mrs. Frank (Theodosia) Oleson of Burlington, Betty Dyke of Shenandoah and Mrs. Bill (Helen) Reafleng of Pacific Junction; a son, Gerald Skinner, of Nashville, Tenn.; a stepdaughter, Georgeanne Shannon, of Missouri Valley; a step-son, Markie Harrington, of Glenwood; 15 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren, 10 great-great grandchildren and four step-grandchildren.

Burial will be in Waubonsie Cemetery.

Memorials may be offered to the Glenwood Fire Department or the First Baptist Church in Glenwood.

Pallbearers: David Oleson, Donald Oleson, Dale Deitchler, Richard Lamm, Robert Henderson and Larry Harrington.

Music was provided by Ardis Dusenberry, Organist, and Merril and Betty Tronson, singers. The hymns were: “In The Garden” and “One Day at a Time”.
