At the age of seven he came with his parents to Sidney, Iowa, where his father famed for one years before his death. Albert then came to Mills county to make his home with an older half-sister, Mrs. L. C. Godsey, in Folsom community. Here he grew to manhood.

On December 22, 1892 he united in married with Anna Viola Boyce of that community. They made their home on a neighboring farm. To this happy union was born an only daughter.

Mr. McClusky had to retire from the farm due to poor health 13 years ago. He and his wife have since made their home with their daughter and family living on the farm near Silver City, until four years ago last January when they came into Glenwood, where they purchased a home on North Chestnut Street.
