TABOR - Memorial services for Shirley LaVon Shepard, 67, of Tabor will be Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at the Congregational Church in Tabor with the Rev. Dan Lozer officiating.

Mrs. Shepard died May 27 at her home.

She was born in Tabor where she lived all her life. She was a member of Tabor Congregational Church and Women’s Swimming Group.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leland, in 1991.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Richard (Carol) Clarke of St. Petersburg, Fla., Laura Turner of Willow River, British Columbia, Canada and Annette Shepard of Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada; a son, Allen of Wad Cove, Ark.; seven grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

There will be no visitation. A private service for burial of the cremains will be held at the Tabor Cemetery.

Memorials may be offered to the breast cancer fund of the American Cancer Society.

Crawford-Marshall Funeral Chapel in Tabor is in charge of arrangements.
