Council Bluffs Nonpariel dated March 27, 1980:

Gerald H. Epperson, 71, Omaha, died of cancer at a hospital there Wednesday.

He was born in Pacific Junction and formerly was employed as a district manager for an insurance company.

Survivors include his wife, Kay R.; son, Donald J. of Omaha; three daughters, Paula Williamson of Council Bluffs, Gerry Leibee of Omaha and Addis Marie Marcelli of Novato, Calif.; 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at First Christian Church of Omaha with burial at Hillcrest Memorial Cemetery.

The Westside John A. Gentleman Mortuary in Omaha made arrangements.
