The following is copied from the Council Bluffs Nonpariel newspaper dated October 9, 1947:

Services were held Wednesday afternoon at the James chapel for Leslie (sic) Carl Hunter, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Hunter of Council Bluffs, who died Monday at a Council Bluffs hospital. The Rev. George Durkee conducted rites, with burial in Martin’s Chapel cemetery.

Surviving are the parents and two brothers, his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hunter of Pacific Junction and maternal grandmother, Mrs. Minnie Chapin of Glenwood.
