dated July 21, 1992Leonard "Gene" Edwards, 47, Louisville, Neb.; died of cancer Tuesday (July 21, 1992) at Immanuel Hospital in Omaha.
Mr. Edwards was a former Glenwood resident.
He was a Vietnam veteran, serving in he U. S. Army. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and American Legion in Glenwood and the Methodist church in Springfield, Neb.
He worked as a sales representative for Omaha Public Power District for several years.
Survivors include one daughter, Jennifer Cousins of Ashland, Neb.; one sister, Ruth Lundy of Glenwood; and one aunt.
Service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Peterson Mortuary in Glenwood. The Rev. Richard R. Dunn will officiate.
Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Memorials are suggeted to the American Cancer Society.
