On February 2, 1888 she was united in marriage to George H. Garrett, who preceded her in death, (Feb. 5, 1931). To his union twelve children were born five of whom have preceded her in death. They are Elmer, Aubrey, Twila, Louise and Robert.

She had been in failing health for the past three years, but was able to go by plane to visit her three children in California last October. Everything that skill and loving care could do was done for her.

She was a kind loving wife and mother, and a splendid thoughtful neighbor. She was loved and respected by all who knew her for she always considered others before herself. So she was held in high esteem by not only her family, but by all who knew her.
