Services for Clarence LaVerne Van Scyoc, 88, of Tabor, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Crawford-Reeves Funeral Home at Tabor.

The Rev. Don Ludwick and the Rev. Irving Mitchell will officiate. Interment will be at the Tabor Cemetery.

Van Scyoc died Tuesday (April 23, 1974) at a Hamburg hospital.

He was a lifelong resident of Fremont County and a former farmer and trucker.

Survivors include four sons, Clyde and Madison, both of Thurman, Lyle of Tabor and Gerald of Randolph; five daughters, Mrs. Freda Chambers of Thurman, Mrs. Bernadine Shannon of Sidney and Mrs. Wilma Earton, Mrs. Norma Clapper and Mrs. Wava Trively, all of Tabor; 22 grandchildren; and a half-brother, Earl Clapper of Pacific Junction.
