Alma Bernice Epperson died Friday morning, September 12, 1913, aged 11 years, 7 months and 15 days.

Bernice was the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Guy Epperson living south of Pacific Junction. She leaves to mourn her a father, mother and five brothers---Archie, Harry, Verne, Lyman, and Gerald.

She wsa ill five days from appendicitis. Bernice was of a loving disposition. She realized the fatality of her sickness, and said to her mother, "I can't come back to you."

Rev. Aitken of Bartlett conducted the funeral at the home Saturday at 10 o'clock. Interment was in Glenwood cemetery. Many floral offerings were sent by friends. Six of her cousins acted as her pall bearers. They were Charles and Frank Hunter, Clyvie and Willie Epperson, Ralph Allen, and Floyd Fulton.

Mr. and Mrs. Epperson and family desire to thank their friends and neighbors for their help and comfort during their bereavement.

"Bear her out gently to her last rest, Safe with her Savior, darling is blest. Jesus has called her, pure, undefiled. Take comfort sad weeper, 'tis well with the child."
