August 5, 1978Funeral services for Bessie F. Epperson, 90, of Omaha, will be 3 p.m. Monday at the Woodring Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Donald T. McQuinn, pastor of the Trinity United Methodist Church officiating.
Interment will be in Glenwood Cemetery.
Mrs. Epperson died Friday at the Florence Heights Village Nursing Center after a long illness. She was born in Silver City but lived for many years in Council Bluffs before moving to Omaha in 1951.
She had been a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church for over 50 years. Her husband, Archie, died in 1950.
She is survived by a daughter, Lucille Negus of Omaha; a brother, James Radford of Malvern; three grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
The family will receive relatives and friends at Woodring Sunday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Memorials to the Trinity United Methodist Church are suggested.
