Arbra (sic) Cyrus Harrington, the second son of Daniel and Eleanor Pack Harrington, was born February 9, 1860, in Bartlett, Mills County, Iowa and passed away July 25, 1944.
He was baptized, as a young man, into the Reorganized church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
On December 25, 1878 he was united in marriage to Mary Anna Garrett. To this union were born eight children, two of whom preceded him in death. His wife and companion for nearly 65 years passed away May 26, 1943.
He is survived by the following children: Elzie, of Omaha, Neraska; John, of Hamilton, Missouri; Mrs. Grace Kellogg, of Council Bluffs; Mark, of Glenwood; Raymond, of California, and Lloyd of St. Louis, Missouri, and one grandchild, whom they raised, Mrs. Geo. Rathbun, of Council Bluffs, Iowa. Also three sisters, Mrs. Clara Roberts, Kansas City, Missouri, Mrs. Emma Folks, Sidney, Iowa, and Mrs. Lydia Davidson, of Omaha. Twenty three-grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren also survive.
Mr. Harrington spent most of his life in Tabor.
Funeral services are to be held this afternoon from the Reeves Funeral Home with interment in Tabor cemetery.
