Many old residents of Glenwood will recall one who was a youngster in Glenwood when the Civil War began. This young man, Levi Crouch, will be remembered as a member of the famous 29th Iowa. His mother, at the time of her son's enlistment was a Mrs. West. Comrade Crouch passed away two weeks ago at the Soldiers' Home in Marshalltown.
