I, Abel Cary, of Anderson Township, Mills County, Iowa, being of full age and sound mind do hereby make, publish and declare this to be my last will and testament, hereby revoking any and all former wills by me at any time heretofore made.

First: I direct the payment of all my just debts and funeral expenses.

Second: I give, devise and bequeath to my wife, Mary R. Cary, all of the property of which I die seized, whether the same be real, personal or mixed.

Third: I hereby nominate and appoint my two sons, Pearl Cary and J. W. Cary, joint executors of this my last will and testament and direct that they act without bonds, and I hereby direct that the said executors shall have full power and authority to finish the business in connection with the farming and operation of said farm, to renew notes, loans, mortgages or encumbrances of any kind against the real estate or personal property and to feed out and apply the proceeds as executors in accordance with the terms of a certain written contract entered into on the 23rd day of September, 1922, which said contract provides that the proceeds from the sale of said land shall be first applied to the indebtedness against it, then to the reduction on the indebtedness on my own home farm in Section 34 and any balance to be used in equalizing the indebtedness on my other lands to $100.00 per acre. It being my intention that the executors herein have full power and authority to carry on the farming and stock raising operations during the period of administration of my estate.

Dated this 20th day of October, 1922, the foregoing instrument was by the testator, Abel Cary, signed in our presence, he at the same time declaring the same to be his last will and testament, and we, at his request, and in his presence, and in the presence of each other, have subscribed our names as witnesses thereto.
