Will of George Washington Downs, Deceased.

IN THE NAME OF GOD, AMEN!

I, George Washington Downs, a resident of Glenwood, in the County of Mills, in State of Iowa, being of full age and sound mind, do make, publish and declare this to be my last Will and Testament, that is to say:

First.
I direct that all my lawful debts, the expense of my last sickness and burial, be paid and subject thereto.

Second.
I give, devise and bequeath to my beloved wife, Sallie W. Downs, all the property of which I may die seized, both real and personal of whatever kind or character, and wherever situated, to be hers absolutely and for her sole use and benefit.

I direct that my said wife, Sallie W. Downs, be appointed the executor of this my last Will and Testament, and request that she be not required to furnish bond or security for the faithful performance of her duty.

In witness whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name at Glenwood, Iowa, this 13th day of September, A.D. 1910.

The foregoing instrument consisting of one sheet of paper, was on the thirteenth day of September, A.D. 1910, subscribed by the testator George Washington Downs, as and for his last Will and Testament, in the presence of each of the undersigned,who at his request, in his presence and in the presence of each other, have signed our names hereto as subscribing witnesses.
