"QUEEN MILLS TO THE FRONT"
That Mills County is to be properly represented at the Omaha Exposition is a settled fact. The matter has gotten in to the right hands. J.W.Murphy has been appointed to succeed Coleman as superintendent of the Iowa fruit display and is now in charge. On Friday last Frank Nebe began circulating a subscription paper to raise funds for a Mills County display and in a short time raised about $50 for that purpose. W.A. Callan was at once secured to visit Mills county apple growers and got suitable specimens of fruit for the exhibit and he is now making the collections. Parties wishing to see Mills county apple industry brought properly before the visitors at Omaha should send choice specimens at once to Mr. Callan at Glenwood.
Frank Nebe went to Omaha to assist Mr Murphy in his labors there. Two better men could not have been found to look after the interests and present the claim as "Queen Mills" as a fruit growing region. They deserve our heartiest support. Let every effort be made to make it a grand success.
