AS we go to press this afternoon the case of Winkler and McMillan is being tried. It is one of the most important cases of this term and was begun Tuesday. Messrs. Stone, Gillilland, Kelley and Patrick will be plaintiffs lawyers while Messrs. Lewis, Dean and Genung(?) are for the defense. We will have more to say of this suit next week when Judge Smith has given his decision. At the close of this case the court will adjourn until next week when the case of the Hastings bank robbers will have their trial.
