LAST WILL OF THOMAS HODGIN
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS: That I Thomas Hodgin of Rawles Township in the County of Mills and the State of Iowa, being of sound mind and memory, and in good bodily health, do make this my last will and testament, hereby revoking all former wills by me before made.
After the payment of all my just debts and funeral charges, I give and bequeath and devise as follows:--
First---I give, bequeath and devise to my brother John Hodgin, Two Hundred Dollars, ($200.00), provided he outlives me. In lieu of his death before mine the said Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00) is bequeathed and devised to his daughter Clara Hodgin, to have and to hold the same forever.
Second---I give, bequeath and devise to my brother Robert Hodgin, Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00) to have and to hold the same forever.
Third—If my brother Howard Hodgin, outlives me, I give, bequeath and devise to him the sum of Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00) in cash. If at the time of my death my brother Howard is owing my estate any money represented by a note, it is my desire and request that said note shall not be collected, but shall be delivered to him as a part of his legacy in addition to the Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00) herein devised.
Fourth—I five, bequeath and devise to my brother Benjamin Hodgin the undivided one half interest of an 80 acre farm owned by me in Lancaster County, Nebraska, to have and to hold the same forever.
Fifth—I give, bequeath and devise the balance of my estate, such as monies, stocks, bonds, notes and chattels of every kind and desc ription; Also all the balance of my real estate of every kind and description, not herein before devised, to my beloved niece Lilly A. Dalton to have and to hold the property herein to said niece forever.
I hereby constitute and appoint my nephew Charles Dalton of Rawles Township, Mills County, Iowa, as executor and trustee of this my last will and testament.
In testimony whereof, I here unto set my hand, and in the presence of the two witnesses name below this to be my last will and testament, this 4th day of October, 1904.

On the 4th day of October, 1904, Thomas Hodgin, of Rawles Township, Mills County, Iowa, signed the foregoing instrument in our presence declaring it to be his last will and testament, and as witnesses thereof we here do now, at his request, in his presence, and of each other, hereto subscribe our names.
