January 26, 1906John Allbee and Miss Helenn A. Shanks were united in marriage at the time Glenwood Christian church Wednesday night at the close of prayer meeting, Rev. J.H. Stark officiating. The bride is the oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R.N. Shanks of West Oak.
The groom is an energetic young man, being the oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. G.W. Allbee of Superior, Neb.
They are both fine young people and the Tribune joins in wishing them success and happiness in life.
The reception which was to have taken place at the home of the bride was withdrawn on account of the mother’s poor health.
The happy couple will be at home after March 1, one mile north of Glenwood where the groom has purchased a farm and has a home ready for his bride.
