I, Mosley B. Chase, of Henderson, Mills County, Iowa, being of sound mind and memory and understanding, do hereby make, publish and declare the following to be my last will and testament, hereby revoking all former wills by me made.

First: I give and bequeath to my nephew Ransom E. Chase, of Edinboro, Pa., the sum of Two Thousand Dollars ($2,000), the same to be paid to him by my executors hereinafter named, within two years after my death, in the discretion of my said executors.

Second: I give and bequeath to my nephew, William Swaney, of Franklin, Pa., the sum of Four Thousand Dollars ($4,000), the same to be paid to him by my executors hereinafter named, within two years after my death, in the discretion of my said executors.

Third: I give and bequeath to my nephew Mosley Swaney, of Crossingville, Pa., the sum of Three Thousand Dollars ($3,000), the same to be paid to him by my executors, hereinafter named, within two years after my death, in the discretion of my executors.

Fourth: I give and bequeath to my niece Lucina Swaney, of Crossingville, Pa., the sum of Two Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($2,500), the same to be paid to her by my executors hereinafter named, within two years after my death, in the discretion of my said executors.

Fifth: I give and bequeath to my nephew Joel Swaney, of Crossingville, Pa., the sum of Three Thousand Dollars ($3,000), the same to be paid to him by my executors hereinafter named, within two years after my death, in the discretion of my said executors.

Sixth: I give and bequeath to my niece Sallie M. Swaney of Crossingville, Pa., the sum of Two Thousand Dollars ($2,000), the same to be paid to her by my executors hereinafter named, within two years after my death, in the discretion of my said executors.

Seventh: I give and bequeath to my nephew Carlos Swaney of Lundys Lane, Pa., the sum of fifteen hundred dollars ($1,500), the same to be paid to him by my executors hereinafter named, within two years after my death, in the discretion of my said executors. The same to be in addition to all advancements heretofore made by me to him.

Eighth: I give and bequeath to my niece Addie Breece, formerly Addie Swaney, of Erie City, Pa., the sum of Three Thousand Dollars ($3,000), the same to be paid to her by my executors hereinafter named, within two years after my death, in the discretion of my said executors.

Ninth: I give and bequeath to my nephew Charles Swaney, of Henderson, Iowa, the sum of Three Thousand Dollars ($3,000), the same to be paid to him by my executors hereinafter named, within two years after my death, in the discretion of my said executors.

Tenth: I give and bequeath to my niece Stella Sherwood, of Titusville, Pa., the sum of Two Thousand Dollars ($2,000), the same to be paid to her by my executors hereinafter named, within two years after my death, in the discretion of my said executors.

Eleventh: I give and bequeath to my niece Lina Davis, of Waterford, Pa., the sum of Two Thousand Dollars ($2,000), the same to be paid to her by my executors herein named, within two years after my death, in the discretion of my executors.

Twelfth: I give and bequeath to my nephew Elias Williams, of Titusville, Pa., the sum of Two Thousand Dollars ($2,000), the same to be paid to him by my executors hereinafter named, in the discretion of my said executors.

Thirteenth: I give and bequeath to my niece Guinn Williams-Kelley of Titusville, Pa., the sum of Two Thousand Dollars ($2,000), the same to be paid to her by my executors hereinafter named, within two years after my death, in the discretion of my said executors.

Fourteenth: I give and bequeath to my sister-in-law Laura Bump, of Crete, Nebraska, the sum of Four Thousand Dollars ($4,000), the same to be paid to her by my executors hereinafter named, within two years after my death, in the discretion of my said executors.

Fifteenth: I give and bequeath to my nephew George Bump, of Crete, Nebraska, the sum of Two Thousand Dollars ($2,000), the same to be paid to him by my executors hereinafter named, within two years after my death, in the discretion of my said executors.

Sixteenth: I give and bequeath to my nephew William Bump, of Crete, Nebraska, the sum of Three Thousand Dollars ($3,000), the same to be paid to him by my executors hereinafter named, within two years after my death, in the discretion of my said executors.

Seventeenth: I give and bequeath to my brother-in-law Daniel Kellison, of Williamsville, Missouri, the sum of Two Thousand Dollars ($2,000), the same to be paid to him by my executors hereinafter named, within two years after my death, in the discretion of my said executors. The same to be in addition to all advancements heretofore made by me to him.

Eighteenth: I give and bequeath to Charley TenEyck of 4045 Ellis Ave., Chicago, Ill., the sum of One Thousand Dollars ($1,000), the same to be paid to him by my executors hereinafter named, within two years after my death, in the discretion of my executors.

Ninteenth: I give, devise and bequeath to my half sister Pauline C. Lewis of Edinboro, Pa., the house and lot now occupied by her as a residence in Edinboro, Pa., she to occupy use and control the same during her life, and at her death, the same is to pass to Hattie Lewis, of Wickford, R.I., she to take, use and control the same during her life, or as long as she remains single, and in the event of her re-marriage or upon her death, the same is to pass to her child, being now ten or twelve years of age, her first name being unknown to me, said child to take said property in fee simple.

Twentieth: I give and bequeath to my niece Nellie Holcomb, of East Conneaut, Ohio, the sum of Three Thousand Dollars ($3,000), the same to be paid to her by my executors hereinafter named, within two years after my death, in the discretion of my said executors.

Twenty First: I give and bequeath to my niece Laura Caulkins, of East Conneaut, Ohio, the sum of Twenty-five Hundred Dollars ($2,500), the same to be paid to her by my executors hereinafter named, within two years after my death, in the discretion of my said executors.

Twenty Second: I give and bequeath to my niece Laura Caulkins, of East Conneaut, Ohio, the sum of Three Thousand Dollars ($3,000), the same to be paid to her by my executors hereinafter named, within two years after my death, in the discretion of my said executors.

Twenty Third: I give and bequeath to my nephew Lincoln Lewis, of Edinboro, Pa., the sum of Two Thousand Dollars ($2,000), the same to be paid to him by my executors hereinafter named, within two years after my death, in the discretion of my said executors.

Twenty Fourth: In the event of the death of the legatees hereinafter named, before my death, it is my will and desire that the legacy going to said legatee be paid to my nephews and nieces hereinafter named, in equal parts, share and share alike.

Twenty Fifth: I give, devise and bequeath to my nephew Fredrick M. Chase, of North Girard, Pa., one fourth of all of the remainder and residue of my estate, after payment of the above legacies.

Twenty Sixth: I give, devise and bequeath to my niece Lucina Chase-Adams, of Albion, Pa., one fourth of all of the remainder and residue of my estate, after payment of the above legacies.

Twenty Seventh: I give, devise and bequeath to my niece Marian Chase-Stuart, of Erie City Pa., one fourth of all of the remainder and residue of my estate, after payment of the above legacies.

Twenty-Eighth: I give, devise and bequeath to my nephew Fredrick M. Chase, in trust for my nephew Edward H. Chase, of Albion, Pa., one fourth of all of the remainder and residue of my estate, after payment of the above named legacies, said trustee to take said share and to pay to said Edward H. Chase, the income from said one fourth, during the life of said Edward H. Chase, and at his death to turn over said share to the two daughters of Edward H. Chase, Edna Chase and Josephine Chase, both of Philadelphia, Pa., they to take same in equal parts, share and share alike.

Twenty Ninth: In the event that any of the devisees or legatees named herein, shall commence or institute proceedings to contest this will, or prevent the admission of the same to probate, by charging, or alleging any of the grounds for contesting or breaking the provisions of this will, then and in that event, the legacy or divise herein given to any such legatee or divisee, is hereby revoked, and the said share or shares so revoked, for said reason, shall go to the four residuary legatees; Fredrick M. Chase; Edward H. Chase; Lucina Chase-Adams, and Marian Chase-Stuart, in equal parts, share and share alike, and in the event that any of the said four residuary legatees shall have their shares revoked for the reasons above set fourth, then their share or shares shall go to the remaining residuary legatees, in equal parts, share and share alike.

Thirtieth: Reposing confidence in my nephew Fredrick W. Chase, of North Girard, Pa., and my friend J. R. Chaloupka, of Carson, Iowa, I hereby constitute and appoint them executors of this my last will and testament and ask that Fredrick M. Chase be relieved from giving bond for the faithful performance of his trust, and that J. R. Chaloupka be required to give bond in the sum of Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000) for the faithful performance of his trust.

Thirty First: In the event of the death of Fredrick M. Chase, before my decease, I constitute and appoint B. A. Stuart, of Erie City, Pa., executor in place of Fredrick M. Chase and ask that he be required to give bond in the sum of Thirty Thousand Dollars ($30,000) for the faithful performance of this trust, and in the event of the death of J. R. Chaloupka before my decease, I constitute and appoint Elwood T. Osler, of Carson, Iowa, executor to act in place of J. R. Chaloupka, and ask that he be required to give bond in the sum of Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000) for the faithful performance of this trust.

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand in the presence of these witnesses, this 6th day of January A.D. 1912. Signed Mosley S. Chase, Testator
