I, the undersigned, Sophronia Hackney of Glenwood, Iowa, being of sound mind and memory do hereby make, publish and declare this to be my last will and testament in manner and form following, to-wit:
I direct that my just debts and funeral expenses be first paid out of my estate.
To my daughter, Martha Houck, I give and bequeath the sum of Ten Dollars, in full of all her share in my estate and property.
To my grand daughters, Opal Zollars and Lucile Utterback, I give and bequeath the sum of Ten Dollars, to each, in full of all share in my estate.
All the rest of my estate and property, of every kind, and wherever situated I give and bequeath in equal shares to my two sons, William Hackney and Edmund Stover Hackner, one half thereof to each of said sons. This shall apply to all property, my homestead and all estate of which I died seized. I make this bequest to my two sons on account of the care and help which they have given me and in remaining at home with me in my old age.
I hereby nominate my said two sons, William Hackney and Edmund Stover Hackney, as Executors of this my will and ask that they be appointed as such without bonds.
Witness my hand this 4th day of September 1919
