MILLS COUNTY WILLS - BOOK 2 ANDREW COLE
In the name of God, Amen. I Andrew Cole of Glenwood Township Mills County State of Iowa, being of sound mind and memory, do hereby make, publish and declare this my last Will and Testament in manner following that is to say:
First.. I order and direct my Executor hereinafter named, as soon after my decease as possible to take possession of my personal estate and to ____the same into money with as little delay as possible and with the money so to be realized, to pay off and to discharge the debts dues and liabilities that may be existing
against me at the time of my decease.Second.. I give and devise to my son James, his heirs and assigns fifty (50) acres of that tract or parcel of land situate lying and being in Mills County viz: The West one half of the North East one fourth of Section Seven Township No. Seventy two (72) North of Range Forty two (42) West, excepting fifteen acres off the east side.
Third.. I give and bequeath all the rest and residue of my real estate of every manner and nature unto my son Eleazer, his heirs and assigns, Excepting twenty-five acres to be divided equally between my five daughters, May Jane Tipton, Rachel Templeton, Margret Meadows, Sarah Meadows and Lwanah Wright and to their heirs and assigns forever. I also give and devise all my personal estate goods and chattels of whatsoever nature to the above named daughters.
I hereby nominate constitute and appoint Eleazer Cole, the Executor of this my last Will and Testament, hereby revoking all former Wills by me made. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this Seventh day of November A. D. 1873.
