Mills County Iowa, Will Book 2, p. 77

In the heading and index for this will the name is Haynie. In the
will itself it is spelled Haney.

RICHARD HAYNIE DECEASED

The last will and testament of Richard Haney.

This is to certify that I, Richard Haney, being now of sound mind
and judgement do dictate this to be my last will and testament.

1st I hereby appoint my wife Sarah Haney and my brother John
Haney my administrators.

2nd. Furthermore, that they keep my property entire without
division and to be used by my wife Sarah Haney until the youngest
of my children shall be of age.

3rd Furthermore, that the sum of Four Hundred Dollars be paid to
my son John T. Haney out of the moneys now due me.

4th Furthermore, that the sum of One Hundred and Fifty Dollars
be paid to my son William B. Haney out of the moneys now due me.

In witness whereof I have this 9th day of December, 1873 affixed
my hand and seal thereto....R. Haynie (his seal)
