WILL OF LEBBEUS CLARK

I, Lebbeus Clark, of Mills County, Iowa, being conscious that I am approaching the end of life, and desirous of making disposition of my property, to the end that the interests of my family may be conserved and protected, do hereby, make, publish and declare this, my last will and testament.

I hereby give, devise and bequeath to my beloved wife, Anna Clark, all my property, both real and personal, that I now own and possess, to have, to own, to hold and use; during the term of her natural life, and give to her charge and care of our daughter, Sadie, and request that she care for and maintain her.

If my said wife, Anna Clark, shall die before my said daughter, Sadie, then in that event, I hereby give, devise and bequeath any and all of my said estate or any portion thereof, then remaining unused, to my said daughter Sadie, for her own personnal use and benefit, during the term of her natural life and at her death, that is to say, after the death of both my said wife, Anna, and daughter, Sadie, any part or portion of my said estate then remaining usused, to be divided share and share alike between my legal heirs then living.

If any of my said heirs shall have died before my said wife or daughter Sadie, have died, then, in that event, that portion of my said estate which would have gone to said heir, if living, shall be given to the heirs of such an one.

In witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand at my home, on this 12th day of February, 1912, in the presence of I. U. Parsons and C. B. Christy, to whom I have delivered this instrument and whom I have requested to sign the same as witnesses thereunto.

Christy, have this day received from the hand of Lebbeus Clark, the above instrument which he has declared to us to be his Last Will and Testament and which he has requested us to sign as witnesses thereto and we have hereto affixed our names to same, on the 12th day of February, 1912
