This is the last Will and Testament of one Robert Rew, of number 1, The Crescent Mount
Radford Exeter whereof I appoint my wife sole Executrix. I give and bequeath all my
consumable effects, plate, linen china books pictures prints wines furniture and other
household effects horses carriages live and dead stock unto my said wife absolutely. I devise
to my said wife in fee simple the house and garden adjoining wherein I reside and known as
No. 1 The Crescent Mount Radford Exeter for her own sole and separate use and benefit
absolutely. I devise and bequeath unto my cousin Henry Rew of Whipton and my said wife all
that my estate and farm hereditaments (sic) and premises of eighty acres or thereabouts in
Township Seventy three North of Range Forty One situate in Mills County Ohio (sic) in
America free from the mortgage debt which may be due thereon which I declare if not already
paid off shall be paid solely out of my residuart (sic) personal esate upon Trust to pay the
rents issues and profits thereof unto Harriet Rew and Fannie Rew daughters of James Rew
now residing at Paignton in equal moieties during their joint lives and after the decease of one
of them then upon trust to pay the last mentioned rents issues and profits to the survivor of
them during her life and in each case for her absolute use and benefit respectively free from
the control debts or engagements of any husband with whom she may intermarry and so that
she shall have no power during coverture to alien charge or anticipate the same and after the
decease of the survivor of the said Harriet Rew and Fanny Rew then as to the said Farm
Lands and hereditaments upon Trust for Godfrey Rew only son of the said Henry Rew his
heirs and assigns absolutely. Whereas by the will of my late uncle William Rew of Culverlands
Exeter Deceased I have power to appoint the sum of one Thousand pounds which by that Will
is bequeathed upon trust to pay the income to his wife Martha during her life or widowhood
and after her death upon Trust to pay the same to me until the events therein mentioned and
then upon Trust as to the Capital for such persons and in such proportions as I shall by my
last Will appoint Now I give and bequeath and by virtue of the said Power and all other powers
me enabling appoint the same and the investment representing the same sum of One
Thousand Pounds unto and between Beatrice Rew of Whitefield Terrace Plymouth in Devon
and the said Godfrey Rew absolutely share and share alike as tenants in common and subject
as aforesaid I give devise and bequeath all the rest and residue of my hereditments and
premises real and personal estate and effects unto my said wife her heirs executors and
administrators absolutely subject to the payment of my debts funeral and Testamentary
Expenses. In Testamony whereof I the said Robert Rew the Testator have to this my last Will
and Testament contained in one sheet of paper set my hand this sixteenth day of May One
thousand eight hundred and ninety. Signed....Robert Rew

Signed by the said Robert Rew the Testator as and for his last Will and Testament in the
presence of us present at the same time who at his request in his presence and in the
presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as Witnesses.

Be it known that at the date hereunder written the last will and Testament of Robert Rew late
of No. 1. The Crescent Mount Radford in the parish of Saint Leonard in the County of the City
of Exeter Gentleman deceased who died on the 24th day of May 1890 at No. 1. The Crescent
aforesaid and who at the time of his death had fixed a place of abode at Exeter with the
District of the County of Devon was proved and registered in the District Probate Registry of
her Majesty's High Court of Justice at Exeter and that Administration of the personal estate
Court to Mary Brock Rew of No. 1. The Crescent aforesaid widow the relict of the deceased
the sole Executrix named in the said will she having been first sworn well and faithfully to
administer the same.

In Probate Certificate of Probate of Foreign Will

I, Walter S. Brown, Clerk of the above named, hereby certify that on the 20th day of
September 1913, the foreign Will of Robert Rew, late of the County of Exeter, and England, to
a copy of which, duly authenticated, sealed, attested and certified as by law required, this
certificate is annexed, which foreign will was dated July 12, 1890 was on the production before
said Court of the copies, authenticated, sealed, attestation and certificate duly admitted to
Probate in the State of Iowa, by said Court as and for the last will and testament of said
decedent. In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and the seal of the Court named in
the caption this 8th day of November 1913....Walter S. Brown, Clerk, by Hattie M.
