I, Asahel Lambert of lawful age and of sound and disposing mind and memory, do hereby
make publish and declare this to be my last will and testament.

I direct that my just debts and funeral expenses be first paid out of my estate.

I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Missouri Lambert all property of every name and
nature of which I may die seized or to which I may die entitled, meaning and intending hereby
to give her title in fee simple to all real estate and the absolute ownership of all personal
property.

No provision is made in this my will for my adopted daughter Eva Lambert because I know well
the full affection my wife bears to her and prefer to leave to the affection and good judgment of
my wife such care and provision for Eva as she shall deem right and just.

I hereby nominate and appoint my wife Missouri Lambert as my executrix to carry out the
provisions of this my will and respectfully ask that she not be required to give bond for the
faithful performance of her duties as such.

In testimony hereof I do hereby subscribe my name this 12th day of January 1901.
Signed...Asahel Lambert

On this 12th day of January 1901, at Glenwood, Iowa, Asahel Lambert signed the foregoing
instrument in our presence and to us at the time declared the same to be his last will and at his
request and in his presence and in the presence of each other we subscribe ourselves as
witnesses to same.
