I am Hal Holenbeck a contributor to the HOLLENBECK GENEALOGY SITE. I was intriqued with this entry. A major problem in my research has always been OREN WILLIAM HOLLENBECK. I have tracked him through IL to Marshalltown IA. 2 daughters, which died young, are buried there. (c. 1890) At that point he disappeard from the earth. I am truly interested in any HOLLENBECK within the area of Marshalltown.
Can you help me at all? I realize this is a very broad area, but there is a notation in the cemetery records that a GGGrandson visited during the 1970's.
