William BALLARD (1806-1895) Family

My gg grandfather William BALLARD (b.1806 Kentucky - d. 1895 Marshall County, Iowa) was one of the earliest settlers in Marshall county. He had two wives: Rebecca HOUSTON(1807 Kentucky -1852) and Mary CONKLIN (SHERMAN)? (b. Ohio?). I would like to know any information on either of his wives, especially their families of origin. Are any descendants still living in Marshall County? Thank you.
