William Alfred Flook, a resident of this city for many years, died on Monday, November 4th, at his home, 913 Court avenue. Mr. Flook was born at Fredericksburg, Ohio, October 5, 1849. He came with his parents to Marshall county, in this state, after a residence in Illinois. In that county he was married October 22, 1873, to Miss Naomi Diggins. After living there several years, they removed to this county, which was henceforward their home. He traveled for several years as representative of the Free Sewing Machine company of Chicago. Mr. Flook lived a devoted, worthy Christian life, that of a fond husband, a loving parent and a true friend. A man of quiet disposition, agreeable in his ways, to know him was to love him. His remains were taken to Melbourne, Marshall county, where they were deposited in Maple Grove cemetery. Mrs. Flook survives him, as do their four children -- Bert B. Flook, Mrs. Myrtle Wark, and Claud and Harry B. Flook.
