Death certificate

Can someone tell me how to obtain a death certificate from a person who died in 1969 at the Iowa Soldier's Home? he Marshall County website says that they do not provide copies for genealogists. I will be in Iowa at the end of June and could do the legwork myself. Just need some direction. Thanks in advance.
