I was just checking out some family names to see what would come up. I finally ended up at this site and found an inquiry made in 2003. You may have long ago found out the information that you were seeking. But if not, I am the great granddaughter of Helen Padmore. One of her daughters was Grace who married Leroy Ward Lewis of La Mars, IA. They lived in Shenandoah, IA where the raised 3 children. Both of them died in the 60s. Let me know if you would like more detailed information.
