Mental Institution or hospital

Can anyone tell me if there was a Mental Instituion or Mental Hospital/pshyic ward in or around Marshalltown/Marshall Co., IA in the time period of 1900-1925. Is it still there? If not, where would old records be located, of persons who may have been committed there.
