Still looking Bohemian town of origin on the James Pokasty, Pokasta, Pakasty family who lived on a homestead outside of Quarry, Marshall Iowa. James died 22 April 1906 in LeGrande, his wife Mary died 1893 in Marshall County. They had children named Anna Pokasty Johnson, Mary Pokasty Varney, James Pokasty, William Pokesty, Emma Pokasty Hall, Frank Pokasty, and Helen Pokasty Bainter.
