Christopher BOYLAN descendants

BOYLAN

This is in response to a query posted 14 Feb. 1998 by David M. HOFFMANN. I am a descendant of Christopher BOYLAN and have collected quite a lot of data on the family. I know of no connection to a Cornelius BOYLAN, but if you have found the link I would be most interested. The BOYLAN family did not come to the US until the early 1850s. They are listed in the 1855 Oneida County, NY census and the 1860 Marshalltown, IA census. I believe they married in Ireland about 1840, but have no proof. I would be interested in corresponding with anyone who is related to this family.
