Father's Uncle

Meissner surname. Father, Edward Erich Berger, immigrated from Chemnitz, Ger to Albion, IA in 1911 to live with Uncle Willie. Father arrived Ellis Island on 17 April 1911, giving destination as Uncle in Albion. Father joined U. S. Army 30 May 1912 under the name of Elmer Erich BARDE. Supposedly, lived with Uncle Willie in Albion, but can find no trace of it. Any info on the Meissner name or the BARDE name much appreciated. Bob BARDE, USMC(Ret)
