I also have ELLIOTT's in the Albion and Liscomb area of Marshall COunty.

John Ross ELLIOTT b. 1837 in Miami Co. Ohio, d. 1893 in IA. Married Elizabeth WOODROW b. 1839 in PA.d. 1899. One of their children was:

Simeon ELLIOTT b. 1858/1859 in Marshall Co., d. 1915 and married Hannah Isabelle ("Belle") ELLIOTT

Hannah Isabelle ELLIOTT was the d/o James Marshall ELLIOTTE b. 1821 d. aft 1880.

Simeon and Hannah Isabelle ELLIOTTE ELLIOTT had sons Bert, Melville, and Fred O.R. ELLIOTT.

Fred O.R. ELLIOT was b. 1887, Liscomb. He married Bessie Dunham b. 1893 near Liscomb d. 1928. They divorced after 1917. Their children were: Harry Dale Simeon ELLIOTT and Nellie ELLIOTT BAILEY.

Do any of these names sound like there may be a connection with your family? Couldn't be TOO many Elliotts in those little towns at that time! :-)

I have other names/information and would love to compare notes with you!
