FLORKEY, Alfreda R.
Age 90, of Lewisburg (Ohio), passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at her home, following a sudden illness.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Nathan & Eva Talbot, by her husband, Harold Florkey & by a great-grandson. She was a longtime member of Brookville First United Methodist Church and the Homebuilders Class. She also was a member of the Farm Bureau and was a 4H advisor for 20 years.

Alfreda is survived by sons & daughters-in-law, James (Marcia) Florkey, Jack (Illona) Florkey, David (Barbara) Florkey; daughters & sons-in-law, Beverly (Mike) Girton, Barbara (Tony) Proskefalas, Paula Florkey; 12 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren & numerous other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services will be held 10 AM Sat. Nov. 15 at the GILBERT-FELLERS FUNERAL HOME, 950 ALBERT RD., BROOKVILLE, with Pastor Bill Schilling & Pastor Dave Florkey officiating. Burial will follow in Shiloh Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home 5-7 PM Friday.
