Carla Tucker, 62, of Marshalltown, Iowa passed away on May 2, 2018, at the Iowa River Hospice Home in Marshalltown. The family will be having a gathering on Saturday, May 5, 2018, at 2:30 p.m. at Riverview Park in the closest covered shelter to the log cabin. Mitchell Family Funeral Home is caring for Carla and her family. Carla Ann Tucker was born on February 27, 1956, in Marshalltown, Iowa; she was the daughter of Carleton Tucker and Jessie (Logan) Tucker. She attended school in the Marshalltown Community School District and graduated with the class of 1974. Carla worked as a CNA in Grinnell and Marshalltown, Iowa. She loved to ride horses and spend time with her dog, Rocko. Left to cherish her memories are her children, Jessica Smith and Jared Smith both of Marshalltown; grandchildren, Dakota, Quin, Rae, Kalob, Izaak, Carlee and Jace; and siblings, Rochelle Smith and Carleton Tucker. In death Carla rejoins her parents, Carleton and Jessie, and a sister, Jackie Tucker.
