MISS FRANCES COLE DEAD

AGED Maiden Lady Succumbs to
Attacks of Apoplexy

Stricken with apoplexy early this forenoon, Miss Frances M. Cole, aged 80, died at 9:30 at the home of William H. Cover, 510 West Church Street. Miss Cole has been housekeeper for Mr. Cover for twelve years.

Two weeks ago while she and Mrs. Cover were at Clear Lake, Miss Cole was stricken with a slight attack of apoplexy. She was brought home but she had not entirely recovered from that stroke when she was stricken today.

Miss Cole was born in New York State May 17, 1854. She has no near relatives. A cousin, Mrs. F. Caristrom, of near Gillman, and an uncle, Reuben Conger, of Mason City, are the closest who survive her.

The funeral will be held from the Pentecostal Church of Nazarene of which she was a member, Monday at 2 o’clock. The church will be open to friends from 1 to 2. Burial will be in Riverside.
