A telegram to Mrs. H. W. Savage this afternoon told of the death at 2 o’clock this morning, of her sister, Mrs. William DeWoody, at Florence, Colorado, where another sister from this city, Mrs. Emeline Anson had been for a month to care for Mrs. DeWoody. Her death was caused by heart disease. Many years ago Mrs. De Woody had been a resident of this city where she will be remembered by older residents as Miss Smith before her marriage. Mr. and Mrs. Savage leave tonight for Florence to attend the funeral that is to be held Tuesday.
