MILLEN

George W. Millen, assistant in the insane ward of the county farm under Superintendent F. H. Barber, died of kidney trouble Friday afternoon after two week's illness. He will be remembered by the older citizens of Marshall County and especially by the members of Company B, Eleventh Iowa infantry, of which he was a member. Mr. Millen was born in Grafton, Vt., September 7, 1835, and came to Algona in the spring of 1856 with his father's family. He removed to Albion in 1857 and has been a resident of the county almost continuously since. The body will be interred at the Albion cemetery Sunday afternoon, from the residence of the deceased's sister, Mrs. George Humlong, 310 North Fourth street at 1 o'clock. Short services will be conducted at the grave. The brothers of the deceased, Mr. William Miller of Cushing and Mr. L. H. Millen of Algona arrived in the city this morning to attend the funeral.
