Mindie Jo Keil
(December 31, 1965 - February 12, 2016)

Mindie Jo Keil, 50, went home to be with her Lord and Savior February 12, 2016 at Mercy Hospice following a long battle with chronic illnesses. Mindie was born 12-31-1965, the daughter of David and Judith Nuese. She spent her childhood years in Marshalltown, Iowa where she graduated from Marshalltown High in 1984. She went on to Iowa Methodist School of Nursing and completed her RN training in 1991. Throughout her nursing carrier she worked in many different specialty areas and practiced at Iowa Methodist, Iowa Lutheran Hospital, and retired from Mercy Medical Center. She was a writer for the National Nursing Test and had several published nursing articles. Mindie was a dedicated nurse and touched countless lives with her skill, expertise, and kindness. Mindie enjoyed life and had many creative hobbies and interests including traveling, shopping, decorating, and many more. She loved spending time with her puppies. Her family will remember her by her unique sense of style, sense of humor, and her love for her family. Mindie is survived by her husband Ken; daughters Brittany and Brianna; son Casey; parents David and Judy; Nanny's sweethearts Malachi, Joanna, and Eli, as well as many other loving family and friends. A celebration of Mindie's life will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, February 17th at Dillon Trinity Church, 2702 Dillon Rd, Marshalltown, Iowa 50158 with burial and luncheon to follow. Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 16th from 5:00 pm- 7:00 pm at Dillon Trinity Church, 2702 Dillon Rd, Marshalltown, Iowa 50158.
