Mrs. Augusta Seberg, widow of Emil Seberg, died at her home, 211 South Third street, at 3:30 this morning, after an illness of several months due to leukemia, a blood disease, caused by an over abundance of white corpuscles in the blood. Mrs. Seberg had been ill since last fall, and on April 16, in order to relieve the pain suffered by the patient owing to presence of blood clots in the bladder, an operation was performed. During the past three weeks Mrs. Seberg's condition has been serious. Mrs. Seberg was born Johnson, in Sweden, Jan. 3, 1964. At the age of 16 she came to this country, and went to Pilot Mound, where relatives lived. She came to this city one year later, and in 1891 became the wife of Mr. Seberg, who died nineteen years ago. Mrs. Seberg is survived in her immediate family by two children, a son and a daughter. The daughter, Nettie May, is employed as a clerk by Benedict & Britnall. The son, Carl Emil, is in the employ of the Marshall Auto Company. Two sisters, two brothers, and the mother are living. The sisters are Mrs. August Seberg, of this city, and Mrs. C. A. Silford, of Boone, and the brothers C. J. Johnson of Fairfield, and Albert E. Johnson, of Los Angeles. The mother, Mrs. Lottie Johnson, makes her home with her daughter in Boone. Mrs. Seberg was a member of the Swedish Covenant church, and was an active worker in the church of that denomination in this city until the organization was disbanded a few years ago. The funeral will be held from the residence at 3 o'clock Monday afternoon, and interment will follow in Riverside.
